Residential Remodelers
is a name you can trust for quality home improvement remodeling. We offer
a wide selection of Siding products. Fiber-cement siding has the look of wood
siding but has a lower cost and lower maintenance. Additional benefits
include resistance to termites and fire. Fiber-cement siding will not rot,
buckle or warp and holds paint for several years longer than conventional
wood siding.
Detailing
Fiber cement trim board is available in varying sizes, from 7/16" to 3/4"
to 1". Vinyl corner trims are another way to get around using wood.
Fiber cement building products are attractive. You can choose from a
variety of clapboard siding styles that have embossed wood grained texture
or smooth finish. The siding products come in a multitude of widths that
will permit you to have clapboard exposures ranging from 4 inches up to
nearly 11 inches. You can even purchase fiber cement soffit panels to
finish the underside of your roof overhangs.
Fiber cement siding
provides a traditional wood grain appearance without the drawbacks
associated with other siding materials.
Design Versatility. Fiber cement products are available in a variety of
textures, profiles, and colors matching your design requirements. One
option is horizontal lap siding, which includes profiles such as Dutch,
beaded, and traditional. Shaped fiber cement siding is available as
shingles, half rounds, octagons, and random squares (with either a
straight or staggered edge). Vertical siding options include a traditional
stucco appearance, smooth, or cedar (either without vertical grooves or
with regular interval grooves.)
Fiber cement product installations are typically not suited for
do-it-yourself projects. Special tools and expertise are required to
install the product. A builder or siding contractor with experience is
recommended for a quality installation.
